Maybe Mueller can subpoena one of the translators.

(12,592 posts)Putin will have gained status on the international stage,
Trump will pull our troops out of Syria,
Trump will end NATO exercises in the Baltic, and will continue his attacks on the existence of NATO,
Trump will recognize Crimea as a legitimate part of Russia,
All sanctions on Russia will have been lifted,
Putin will be wiping Trump's lip-spit from his ass,
and
Trump will say Putin is a great man and great friend (not of the U.S., but of Donald Trump).
Any bets?

(9,771 posts)Nothing for the US, but plenty for him.
I suspect that in his meeting with Kim he agreed to end the joint military operations w SK and other sell-outs of the US & our allies in exchange for personal financial deals. He obviously wants to build some of his big ugly Trump hotels on NK's big, beautiful beaches. I suspect other shady real estates deals would provide opportunities for profit and money-laundering operations.
I don't know enough about that kind of thing to be confident in exactly what the deals might be. But I feel pretty damn sure that Trump is using these private meetings to set up personally beneficial deals. He has no loyalty to anyone but himself, so it's nothing to him to sell out the US & our allies.
