De León won 65 percent of the 333 ballots cast by members of the partys executive board at an Oakland hotel Saturday, while 28 percent preferred no endorsement, which Feinstein requested last week. Feinstein won only 7 percent of the vote. The threshold for winning an endorsement was 60 percent.

(10,839 posts)Deny the endorsement to the candidate who crushed it in the primary.
Because actual voters chose Feinstein.
But please carry on with the purity politics. Although there's a true disconnect and irony here when you consider all the brouhaha over superdelegates.

(1,788 posts)because of some purity test with a dash of misogyny...where have I heard this before? Oh yeah, when bernie wanted the SDs to overturn the will of the voters. Got to hand it to them, they sure like playing the same game, don't they?
