Facebook says InfoWars is a valid source of "Opinion and Analysis" No, it not a joke...

Facebook Says InfoWars, Which Reported That NASA Has a Slave Colony on Mars, Is a Valid Source of “Opinion and Analysis”

Robert David Steele exposes NASA’s lunar child-slavery secrets on an InfoWars broadcast.

On Wednesday, Facebook held an event for reporters to discuss its efforts to prevent misinformation from spreading on its platform. At the event CNN’s Oliver Darcy asked why InfoWars—the notorious conspiracy site that, most infamously, has promoted claims that the Sandy Hook massacre was a hoax staged by child actors—was still allowed to maintain an official Facebook page. Here’s how the executive in charge of Facebook’s “News Feed” answered:

“I guess just for being false, that doesn’t violate the community standards,” Hegeman said, explaining that InfoWars has “not violated something that would result in them being taken down.”

Hegeman added, “I think part of the fundamental thing here is that we created Facebook to be a place where different people can have a voice. And different publishers have very different points of view.”

Facebook is a sad joke. I am glad I got off of there many years ago. My friends keep trying to get me to go back on it but that is a lost cause. I will NEVER join again.

I had to check several times to be sure it wasn't a satire...

I may have not picked the best article, but there are many others.

How would fight fake news and possible melding in future elections, when the largest social media claims Insofar is “analysis” ?!?

Yep, this is insane! I see them saying they want to prevent fake news but then give the KING of fake news legitimacy and a very loud megaphone to spread their false propaganda. Just in time for November... Sickening.

Survivor style for facts vs propaganda? Except the loser just loses more market share but still stays on the island spreading propaganda and having it shared by those they've poisoned.

Wow. That's some "fix" they came up with there.

I'm not making you say it !

I truly believed it was a joke...

Zuckerberg's motives seem increasingly questionable, as are his explanations increasingly lame.

I read It three times myself. I even double checked the tweets while my mouth was hanging agape. It's genuine.

Even still, I can't believe this is their answer to the problem.
