Things to do other than watch MSNBC or CNN at 9:00 pm

I wouldn't be surprised if Rachel will be looking like she wants to cry, only making me more depressed. Brian Williams will be trying to act like this isn't the end of the world as we know it. Anderson will have on some right wing hacks who will be saying stuff like "liberals are really over blowing this." No thanks.

So, if you have the MHz Choice streaming service, which by the way provides some of the greatest European programming, I suggest you watch Detective Montalbano. It is an Italian detective series that takes place in Sicily. You don't have to watch them in order. The actor who plays Detective Montalbano is so perfect in this role. It is kind of an Italian version of a dramedy. Detective Montalbano can be hilarious, is irreverent, but always gets his man...or woman. It is very entertaining. It's in Italian with English subtitles.

I am going to watch a bald middle-aged Italian speaking detective chase after bad guys while making wise crack jokes to his two sidekicks, getting in trouble with his superiors, and trying to keep his beautiful girlfriend happy.

This SC thing, I just can't

Don't give anyone the pleasure, don't give the channels the ratings. Turn the f*cking TV off whenever that orange loser is on.

I will start to re-watch Goblin on Dramafever. It will only be my sixth time... It's a great way to distract for about 20 hours or so....Or if you are not so inclined to commit to that amount of time there is always The Train to Busan.... One of the greatest zombie movies of all time!

they get dems to talk...and they move the ball until the process is over.
SAY NO. And walk away Senators and Congressmen. Make them come arrest you via the SGt At Arms to vote or not vote. NO HEARINGS. NO VOTES. Get out of Wash like the gop does. just disappear. If they confirm a scj...then its on them. They can't be talked out of anything bc they have a deep bench of corporate paid shill...talkers.
If you engage them...they will have a second scj.

...nearly everything by BBC is great. Grantchester seems to be on holiday. Dr Blake and Miss Fisher are out of Australia, and they are also good mysteries.

My husband does the DVR thing for me because I don't want to miss any if them.
