https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_UndergroundDemocratic Underground DUmmies is a rabid, virulent anti-American collection of malcontents, sickos and outright traitors. It is monitored by the US FBI, DOJ and Secret Service. It is run and populated by Hillary toadies who still cannot deal with losing the 2016 election. It's nickname is "Snowflake Central". Most, if not all of the "males" subjugate themselves to the females in their lives, sit down to urinate and dress effeminately at the will of their female mistresses. | title =Terms of Service

(664 posts)That is why many people do not consider Wikipedia a credible source. I usually only link to Wikipedia if I can find other credible sources like NY Times, LA Times, etc., to post in addition so folks can read all the literature and make their own decisions!

Democratic Underground is an online community for U.S. Democrats. Its membership is restricted by policy to those who are supportive of the Democratic Party and Democratic candidates for political office.[3] DU was established on January 20, 2001, the day Republican George W. Bush was inaugurated president.
I have not set up a Wikipedia editor ID but someone here should fix this - maybe contact EarlG?

They can't cope with the modern world and want to retreat to the safe space of white nationalism.

i disagree - but it's complicated. their actions seem random and individualized but are generally headed towards the common goal of ethnic cleansing. assuming they take such actions due to personal frustrations might actually be accurate in some cases, for the most part we will never know, but there is a common overall direction in which they're moving and trying to pull American society with them. much like individual Germans vandalized different shops during Kristallnacht, their activities may be seen in retrospect as an important coordinated strategic operation, consolidating power through inspiring individual actions rooted in a common bigotry. i'm pretty sure that's what we're dealing with now. hundreds of thousands of bored, desperate assholes are empowered by their Trumpiness to act as openly racist vandals in public forums. anyplace they can pollute or disrupt, they will. this is not "retreat".
Trump & friends have seized power, but so far they wield it clumsily as they have not been able to consolidate their gains to form a comfortable coalition with "mainstream" conservatives, while mainstream America still regards Trumpism as abnormal. if that changes, we are in very deep shit indeed; let's hope it does not change before the midterms.

But it looks like there are a huge amount of edits being done today. At some point maybe they'll put it in 'hold for review' status before allowing more changes.

(13,616 posts)edit, and put up a not as obviously nasty page, but one that scrubbed out our statement of purpose, and did not mention the fact we we hacked, but instead highlighted every "controversy." In short, standard GOP, when you are cuaght for being a brute, try to be the "nice guy" that will still bash your head in when they get a chance.
