Could McCain be the one who told Harry Reid about Romney's Taxes ?

not intentionally to hurt him.

but maybe they were discussing some legislation, policy, whatever. they get into things like taxes , wealthy, offshore accounts etc. and MCCain just makes a comment like "romney hasn't paid in 10 years".

or maybe McCain said it to someone else who told Reid. or someone involved in McCain's VP Search who would have seen Romney's tax returns.

i find this interesting. i want to see Romney's tax returns. even after the election. that a guy would go so far to hide that. i would love to see whether he paid anything. and all the things he does to avoid paying.

his excuse about Dems attacking him for it is crap. if you are afraid of the other party attacking you , you shouldn't even run for office. especially the presidency.

He didn't get to where he is by being stupid or careless. He's a politician, and he knows how to play the game.

7. Most conspicuous to me is McCain is not defending him from zero tax rate charge

And he has seen the taxes. Before this accusation from Harry McCain said something like the taxes were "fine" and "nothing wrong" with them. However that is mincing words, no doubt his loopholes were all legal and therefore "fine."

So were GE's and they paid 0% effective tax rate.

I don't here McCain out there saying "oh he paid SCADS of fed income tax, I saw the papers!"

Personally I highly doubt Romney paid no income taxes for 10 years so I'm thinking we are out on a limb here.

12. So what? He is terrified of releasing the taxes

He probably paid some miniscule taxes some years, who knows? IMO his taxes bust him on a lot of Bain lies and prob voter fraud so he cannot release them without incriminating himself, it's all good.
