(13,466 posts)We are bombarded with those all the time in Kentucky. AND we get the pleasure of sharing the road with "Friends of Coal" license plates.

(39,343 posts)those commercials from BP, clean coal, and natural gas will make sure that CNN (or which ever network its on) will never talk bad about fossil fuels and risk losing an advertiser.

(5,756 posts)You know, the ones touting how the gulf coast has had such great commercial success in tourism and fishing since the big spill. But how there still needs to be some work done and they're on it.
"Clean Coal" I think I just saw that under oxymoron in the dictionary. Even the power utilities are building more natural gas generation than coal-fired now.
And no, Rush is not an oxymoron. He's a moron on oxycontin - so maybe he is an Oxy-Moron.

(16,168 posts)is the way they surgically extract it by blowing off the tops of mountains and allowing the detrius to pollute the
waters down hill.
Everytime I see those miners, why they look like they just stepped out of the shower, no dirt/grime or anything on
thier clothes to even hint they work underground.
