(3,569 posts)1-2 (Durant and Steph vs LeBron and Leonard) in the lineup are even but the Warriors 3-5 and bench are far superior. Iggy. Clay. Dray. Livingston. Thats a hell of a team. zone year turnaround for the Lakers they cant do it.

(11,258 posts)The first time he left the Cavs, I was among the people who saw it as betraying the people of Cleveland, and also as taking the easy way out. However, when he came back and delivered a championship, I was genuinely moved. He's also turned into a first class human being, possibly even a better citizen than basketball player - and I know how crazy that sounds. LeBron has more than earned the right to give the Lakers a shot (especially with the Cavs being so dysfunctional these days with Dan Gilbert) and I wish him nothing but the best.

(14,565 posts)Some of the sportsbooks use that every year, odds on whether the Eastern Conference winner or Western Conference winner will be the eventual NBA champ.
Lately it has been significant favoritism to the West but not outer limits with Lebron in the East. But now I can't even imagine what it will be. Probably 1/10 or 1/12 and that could be low.
It was also extremely lopsided in the early 2000s era when the Lakers were dominant along with the Spurs and Kings (briefly) and there wasn't much of anything in the East.
