Take @realdonaldtrump at his word. He wants to “punish” women for exercising their reproductive freedom. He promised to nominate to SCOTUS someone who would “automatically” overturn Roe v. Wade. We need to fight like women’s lives and freedom are on the line. Because they are.

RepubliConMen might lose the Senate if they push through a Roe killer. Because of the particular set of Senate incumbencies up in 2018, it is hard for Democrats to gain a seat. But push women hard enough and we might gain.

Trump doesn't even care about this issue or if there's a conservative court. He didn't even know what that meant until people told him during the campaign and after he became pres a year ago.

Trump's like an overgrown child that's being told what to do by people behind the scenes, given a list of who to nominate....and return he gets to play president. He's a really pathetic figure.

During the campaign he said that the rich should pay more in taxes and that he would give everyone excellent healthcare and drain the corruption out of the DC swamp. He really will say anything that he thinks his audience wants to hear. But in the end, he does what the GOP establishment wants.

After all, the anti-abortion protesters regularly stand outside clinics like Planned Parenthood with signs and sometimes they even physically accost women going into the PP offices. Some clinics have had to ask volunteers to stay outside and help escort women into the clinic. We should be doing the same (except accosting women). Protest the clinics and hold signs informing women that they are Christian propagandists without medical training and will force them to watch horrendous abortion videos—no doubt manipulated to show inaccuracy. And signs that say things like “You will be told inside that abortions cause cancer—a complete lie. They do not.” and “Here’s where you can find a real women’s healthcare clinic with well-trained medical personnel (with local addresses/phone numbers).”

Here's what this venue does. Here's what this venue won't do and won't tell you. If you'd like some actual legitimate reproductive health or family planning options, here is a flyer showing you where you might want to go instead.

Only the women are to be punished. The men get off scot free. It would serve men in this country right if women refused to sleep with them until they got out on the streets and fought for the rights of women to have bodily autonomy. Or if they refused to have sex until marriage, until their was a legal obligation to any children born.

which is a patriarchal construct, is PRECISELY a felt "need" to punish women for their sexuality.

Sometimes men will inadvertently stumble over that, which is usually mostly hidden in their subconscious / unconscious, and say something revelatory.

Anyone remember Sandra Fluke and the issue of contraceptive insurance coverage? One day as Rush Limbaugh was excoriating her (a daily occurrence), he let it slip that contraceptives allow "sex without consequences."

It's okay for men to have no consequences, but women MUST have the consequences of pregnancy and birth.

Sex without consequences. Think about it. In fact, never forget. The punishment isn't just for sex, but for being female to start with.
