Fox 4p: closeup of some LA marchers standing around, no crowd estimates, no long shots of crowd, on camera perhaps a 100+, no signs, no speakers, neutral commentary. Switches to march at El Paso where fox estimates crowd at 150, noting some were gathered on juarez side of bridge. Mention there were rallies in other cities. All coverage over in 5 minutes, where host Ed Henry switched to trump comments on how trump glad to see democrats campaigning on abolishing ICE. [Wake up purist dems, its 'repeal and replace ICE as mentioned here on DU earlier!!!]. Then Putin 'summit' , Supreme Court battle from rw perspective. NO MENTION OF 'SEPERATED' CHILDREN AT ALL!!!
3p half hour panelists on Sup CT nominee angles. NO rallies.
CNN,MSNBC seemed to have live coverage 3-5 at least, probably all day coverage of days anti trump protests. Official DC estimates over 500,000 [dwarfing trump inaug], NYC 400,000 - 600,000;, all 50 states had marches; over 600 rallies; plus big crowd support rallies around the world.
All far above expectations.
