My $.02

I can't even imagine, let alone understand, the mind of an individual who thinks that it is possible to kill everyone in the world who is not like them. It must be like living in a dark prison to inhabit that psyche. I don't think I could ever be that fearful of others.

I don't understand the thought processes of the person who would turn their backs on the poor, the ill, children, or the elderly while trying to create a religious state based on the very text that teaches the care of others is our first responsibility towards other humans.

I don't understand the cowardice of the silent in this nation who become complicit in hateful speech and actions of the few. You strip us of civilized society by permitting these people and actions to go unchallenged.

Palin creature foisted off on us who pushed the proverbial shitball further up the hill. There the labor was taken over by Bachmann who uses a bulldozer.

If Bush had finished the job at Tora Bora and captured or killed Bin Laden rather than dangling him out there as the bogeyman, there would have been much less incentive for the nation to descend into this level of incivility. It is born of fear. Instead of standing up and saying that we need to work together, Bush sent us shopping so that Cheney could set in motion his long held desire for a war for oil.

When you broadcast hate over the airwaves long enough it will get into the heads that are receptive to it.
