Kamala Harris: "Years from now, people will ask us where we were in this moment"

Years from now, people will ask us where we were in this moment. We don’t want the answer to be how we felt. We want the answer to be what we did.

Maybe a DUer with faster fingers than mine can start an OP on that.

I'll check GD later after my senior nap.

She has that *it* quality.

Her Senate seat may be the steppingstone to something greater.

She and others are on the right side of history.

I’ve been a fan since 2016 but I’m seeing something different than I saw just a couple of years ago. There’s a gravitas, an it factor. She’s “coming on” to use some sports terminology.

Since they love to manipulate messages let’s see them say “No we’re not” or even “No you're not,” to which we can easily say “We are. We all are. We can always be better.”

They want to fight about what means “better”? “Let’s talk about that.” If they refuse say nothing. Just let the rope play out.

We’re mostly talking to one another I know but it’s a message that says “Shame” without giving them anything to grab onto.

WE’RE BETTER THAN THIS!

NOSOTROS ESTAR MEJOR QUE ESTE!

(Translated so might be clumsy)

That tells me two things.

1. They are terrified of her

2. She will be a force to be reckoned with if she runs.

I couldn’t be more impressed with her.

I want to live long enough to see a team of Pres/VP women who are Democrats!

If nothing else it would make a lot of old, fat, disgusting white men in the GOP stroke out and thin the herd of racists and misogynists a bit.

... only had 30% support and then for a short time the opposition didn't take him seriously and the rest of Germany thought the Nazis were deplorable too.

Germans showed too much civility in the face of the Nazis stupidity, IMHO, because Jews were less than 1% of the population at that time.

Benedict Donald's is going after America's less than 1% of population but looking at today's events I'm thinking he's not getting America to be so ... civil

but we couldn't get anywhere close to the stage so I didn't get to see her. But as I've said in other posts, there was a great speaking system all around so we could hear everyone really well. She is wonderful!
