Flint had a pretty good turn out for the rally, today
Especially considering how freaking H-O-T it is! The rally was held on a parking lot, so the only shade was from the small trees the city planted. But they estimated in excess of 250 were there. We had people on both sides of the street and some who were always on the move, up and down the block. It was scheduled to go until 2, but because of the extreme heat, things were winding up by 1.
We also had a micro-miniscule group of counter-protesters. 4 bikers with a trump* flag and an American flag pulled in and then kind of just sat on their bikes, talking and watching us. FINALLY, when they were down to 2, they grabbed their flags and a boom box - no kidding - a boom box - and walked down the sidewalk, cutting through our crowd, mumbling some nonsense. Everyone pretty much ignored them but we did all just started changing 'LOVE TRUMPS HATE', really loud. They turned around, walked back to their bikes and left.
