Washington Post reports that Obama raised $75 million in July

President Obama and the DNC raised $75 million in July for the president's re-election campaign, the Washington Post reports.

"The total was well below the $101 million that GOP rival Mitt Romney and the Republican National Committee raised last month. July is the third straight month that Romney and the Republican Party have raised more money than Obama and the Democratic Party."

Of course they make it sound terrible compared to Romney, but there are, I'm sure, many more people who gave to the Dems than who gave to the GOP. And while 101-75 million is quite a difference, $75 million is not a disgrace by any means and while we will be outspent by the GOP it will be nothing like the 8-1 advantage that the GOP outspend Dems, for instance, in the Wisconsin recall election.
