Why do conservatives expect the president to create jobs?

Doesn't this fly in the face of their belief system? When they blame the president for high unemployment, aren't they saying the government can and should put people to work? Aren't they supposed to tell those lazy unemployed people to get out there and start a business?

Do any of their beliefs stand up to examination?

Since they call him a communist, they expect him to create/assign jobs.

They don't care when a Republican is president.

...the economy is essentially out of the president's hands.

He was a talking head on MSNBC at the time, so that' s how I heard him say that. I'm curious whether Tucker has done a 180 now that a Dem is in the White House, but I'm not willing to watch Faux News to find out.

Though most of his comments are about inane crap that don't really matter.
Like defunding PBS, defending heckling and so forth. As long as it is not targeted against his tribe.

They tell big business to bust unions, cut their payrolls and send jobs overseas.
Then they blame Dems, Obama in particular, when employment numbers are down.

And the beat goes on. It's part of their pledge to make Obama a one term President.

They said they should take control of the House to create jobs. Now they're blaming the president. Way to take responsibility!

There are so many twists and turns and spins to their narrative. It makes ya dizzy.

When they're in charge, government can do no wrong and should have unlimited power.

When the Democrats are in charge, government is evil and ineffective.

and show him how it is done - by getting rid of punitive taxes, obstructive regulations and frivolous lawsuits. Once that happens, jobs will fall from the sky like rain in a hurricane. Just like they did when Bush was President, at least until Barney Frank blew up the economy by not scrutinizing Mae's Fannie, and with a bunch of ridiculous rules trying to sell houses to poor people who didn't make house payments because they slacked off at work and got laid off and they also blew all their savings on "medical" marijuana, booze, lottery tickets, and the babies they pop out because of their unrestrained libido.

expect the president to create jobs but not in the public sector, where he might have the ability to "create jobs". he is supposed to reduce the number of those jobs.

They scream and shout that government doesn't create jobs, then they blame the president for what they call poor jobs numbers (despite the fact that over 160,000 jobs were created in the past month).
