The mars landing gets very little attention compared to the Olympics! Sad!

Sports sure seem more important to everyone. I am sure there are great personal stories to be told about the engineers that designed and worked on the mars project. Parents worked to put them through college or they worked two jobs two put themselves through MIT.
But those stories are not as interesting as a fast swimmer or great gymnasts.
Bob Costas will never interview a engineer and no engineer will make millions from an endorsment deal.
I understand it is because no one wants to watch it on the TV. But it is still sad more people know what Michael Phelps did than what Jonas Salk did!
