Nearly half of US states could limit abortion within two years

There are already two cases before appellate courts, one level down from the supreme court, that could give the country’s highest court an opportunity to limit abortion access as soon as June 2019.

If Roe v Wade was overturned, 24 US states would likely move to ban or severely limit abortion upon reconvening, at earliest within seven months of the supreme court’s decision.

Banning abortion will lead us back in time to women being faced with only bad options.

3. There is a large group of people in this country who long for the 50's

when women and minorities knew their place and feared white men. Where nobody cared if they polluted the environment in the name of profits. Where there was no such thing as political correctness. They are determined to take us back there kicking and screaming.Because we played nice with them when they played dirty they may just win.

6. If States Have the Authority to Ban Abortion, They Also Have the Authority to Enforce Abortion

Either way is a nightmare scenario for women and the denial of autonomy over their own bodies. What is the basis of the fear of women controlling their own bodies and medical decisions without political (or male) interference?

7. And that's just the start

If we do not flip the house or the senate, there will be a constant flow of federal legislation that will be hostile to choice states.

Abortion is that made up enemy that Orwell warned us against. This made up enemy has driven millions of poor working families to sacrifice their workers rights, their consumer rights, their healthcare rights, their social security, their ability to secure affordable housing, their privacy, all in the name of preventing a woman that they don't even know from having power over her own body.

Just for good measure, these people get reminded that their current state of being is not due to legislative policies/laws but due to brown people who either want to blow them up or sneak into the country and steal their jobs.

We have to come up with a message that resonates with this crowd. I wish I knew what that message was...

8. It may take drastic medicine to wake people up.

Banning abortion, banning birth control, gutting social security and Medicare, the utter destruction of the environment and inability to repair storm damage, elimination of civil rights and my favorite trade wars just to name a few Trump GOP disasters. This is what you get with the Fascist rule of a corrupt minority.
