How centrist was Kennedy?

Percentage of 5-4 cases decided in conservatives’ favor, from 2005 to 2018



The right, red bars are siding with the conservatives, the left, blue one - siding with the liberals.

What is interesting is the last section is for the years 2017-2018.

(The top one is for 1995-1996).

1. Dunno that anyone claimed he was a "centrist". They just noted he voted w the "liberals" occasional

Occasionally. Obviously Trump’s new person won’t ever vote w the “liberals”

I think he was more of a traditional libertarian, against government and pro personal rights. This year, however...
