HOLY SHIT. Idaho GOP State Rep GIDDINGS threatens protestors... "30 mm shell"

Students came to peacefully protest the Idaho State GOP Convention. Rep. Priscilla Giddings took a picture with them and posted it to FB with the following caption:

“Idaho State University students peacefully protesting our Republican convention.” Giddings said. “Do you think I should show these girls the empty 30mm shell I have in the truck?”

Idaho state Rep. Priscilla Giddings (R) is facing scrutiny after sharing a photo appearing to mock students who were protesting gun violence on Friday.

In the photo, Idaho State University students can be seen standing with the Republican state lawmaker in Pocatello, just outside of Idaho's Republican convention, holding signs protesting gun violence — one of which reads, “2nd Amendment says we have the right to bear arms, not to bear artillery.”

But Giddings’s caption on the photo has raised some eyebrows from social media users who say she is mocking the protesters.

“Idaho State University students peacefully protesting our Republican convention.” Giddings said. “Do you think I should show these girls the empty 30mm shell I have in the truck?”
