but like most either/or choices, I always wish there were more qualifiers and more choices. The world is not binary. I had to choose some answers I wasn't entirely comfortable with because of this.

I'm afraid I was pegged as 'post-modern', along with 13% of the public.

most the choices are too far apart. If I can't give an answer that's even close to what I think, the quiz is useless.

They start by asking you to review the categories and by doing so, they basically prime you to be more aware of the group with which you'd most likely self-identify.

By doing so, you become more likely to select answers that, at least to you, appear to be consistent with your predetermined self identified group.

Basically, they've created a response bias.
