WSJ Editorial: Reid’s Tax Charge Against Romney A ‘Smear From The Fever Swamps’

The Wall Street Journal editorial board on Monday railed against Harry Reid’s tax accusations against Mitt Romney. Reid claims a Bain Capital investor told him that Romney didn’t pay taxes for 10 years. Reid won’t reveal his source. Romney has told the Senate Majority Leader to “put up, or shut up.”

Reid’s accusations, according to the Journal, are “a smear from the fever swamps that say more about Mr. Reid’s ethics than they do about Mr. Romney’s taxes.”

5. The Point Remains: Where Are Willard's Taxes???

You know you've drawn blood when you hear the wingnuts squeal as loud as they are...trying all they can to twist and turn things and get on the offensive but it isn't washing. The longer Mittens hides his taxes (which will be forever) the more questions are asked and the only answer remains the same: Show us the taxes. Murdoch's dogs can howl all they want but there's a real nasty message passing through the vast majority of the electorate that does pay taxes and more than the 13.9% Willard claims he paid (which all indications are he's lying) that if he's not trying to hide something then he's gotten special perks and breaks us mere mortals can't. It's a lose/lose that team willard hopes it can outshout or outspin for the next 100 days. Keep hammering!!!
