The high price of the Holy Word




I was looking at a list of 21 recommended Sci-Fi books to read and was curious as to why the Bible was mentioned - So I looked at the link , which directed me to Amazon and was rather stunned at the price.

Note the cost of a "leather" bound (wonder what type of leather?) and a "used" Bible

Even when new or near new copies were available at a normal price. I have no idea what is going on.

I don't know the details but it is common to see $3,000.00 flashlights and such.
