Play devil's advocate? Say today.."Bring it on"

Upside? If -45 brings up some anti-abortion anti-equal rights heathen...they would be defeated? Surely we would get enough Rep's to side with us ? It would make -45 and anyone who supported his crazy ass nominee look horrible. Just before November. Downside...we risk having him ( no way a woman) for our lifetime.

Pivotal moment in history ! Every decision we make is important. If I ruled our party I would get the best and the brightest on a secret weekend retreat -- people like Carville.. Obama, Clinton,. Maybe Schmidt if he'd agree,. Howard Dean. Some Obama campaign genuises. ( My opinion of the smart people )

I say offer some possible Democratic votes to get it out of the way if he nominated someone qualified well before the November election. I have even stated to offer just enough votes to get someone that is not qualified (Jeanine Pirro, Sarah Palin?) on the bench. Let that be the legacy of Trump and McConnell.

Of course, I would much prefer if there was any way to stop Trump from selecting the next Justice.

The Democratics need to get either the House or the Senate back. We still have a chance for both. My concern now is some Republicans that would have crossed party lines for the Senate just to insure checks and balances might instead just vote Republican now because of the Supreme Court (the makeup of the court will last far longer than the narcissistic charlatan in office).

Move to a handful of states and form their own demented country. I would gladly move out of my red state I am stuck in now.

To hold off...bingo...they have figured it out...more advantageous for them to wait. Plus none of them have to take an anti-abortion stand before election.
