Who bets Mitch the Witch uses this Supreme Court nomination process to keep Republicans

in Washington over the summer so noone has to submit themselves to a town hall with questions on health care and tax cuts for the rich and the exploding deficit and children in cages?

They have some pretty red states with incumbent Democratic senators running in them. They might very well want to get them on the record opposing an otherwise appealing-to-Republicans nominee and try to defend it.

It would take attention away from Trump's unpopularity.

Left it hangin' as an election issue.

I'd bet a lot of R's vote just on the Supreme Court issue - and don't care about much else.

By and large, every single Witch I know is a million times better human being than McConnell.

You want to use a really damning pejorative, use his name. It's already mud and it evokes more disgust by the day.
