6. Regarding the protests:

Mayor Karen Peconi of Arnold PA suggested several times on her now-deleted Facebook account that firehouses should be turned on the protestors. She also wondered why protestors were available at 7am instead of going to work.

She's a Democrat

9. I live in the PGH area and never heard of anything like that. The protests have been peaceful from

day one and Pittsburgh Police went after the individual that drove through the crowd when they protested near the stadium. There was never anything that even resembled a major confrontation between police and protesters much to some people's anger because there were some that thought they should all be arrested.

South America. She has since been forced to apologize.

12. The council asked her to resign

In a statement, Ms. Peconi wrote, "I love this community, I would do anything for the people here. I don't take my position as Mayor lightly and deeply regret the comments I made on Facebook. It was never my intention to offend anyone, and for those who I offended I am sincerely sorry."

Multiple city council members condemned the posts, including Councilman Joseph Bia who said Ms. Peconi should resign.
