Did anyone catch Chris Matthew's segment tonight on the Usual Suspects?

We need to remember all the times that the conservative Supreme Court ruled, where it has hurt our democracy.

These are the ones I remember.

1-Ruled 5-4 in favor of interfering with the Recount in the 2000 election.

2-Ruled in favor of Citizen's United.

3-Ruled in favor of the Muslim Ban.

There were two others. Anyone remember them?

Another 5-4 POS decision.

This turned eminent domain on its head by holding that your property can be condemned for private development.

[Not a hospital or a school or a road or a sewer plant. A private real estate development, because there will be so much wonderful prosperity from that development that it will benefit everybody.)

Oh, and the development in question? It went tits-up not long after.

Trump tried to evict a widow from her home because he needed a larger parking garage for the limos of the high rollers.

He lost.

With that blatantly partisan decision, we got Bush and Cheney and, along with them, 9/11, Iraq War, Citizens United, two very conservative Supreme Court Justices, financial collapse, worse income inequality, more poor, etc.

And look where we are now.
