We need a Democratic leader right now!

One that is righteously indignant, has a moral backbone and is passionate and articulate. One who can give as good as he gets. Schumer, Pelosi et al do not cut it. Franken would have fit the bill. Now, I nominate Joe Biden..and others?

but, as I stated above about Adam Schiff, he sometimes comes across as very cerebral and his humor can be dry and not for everyone.

his staff that I did not appreciate that he left Maxine to hang out and dry. Further, I didn't appreciate that he echoed tRUMP false claim that Maxine's called for violence. She did no such thing. She called for resistance. Too bad we have no leader to lead the resistance we so desperately need. They got rid of Franken. New Yorkers, please call. Maybe that would stiffen his backbone.

I mean no disrespect to Cong. Schiff, he's been great on the Russia probe, but we need somebody who is vocal and fearless, who isn't worried about bucking Schumer and Pelosi's call for "civility"

younger and direct as opposed to the chaotic destructive mess sitting in the WH. Adam Schiff is certainly vocal and fearless.

but, he's too cerebral and soft-spoken, I think. Even on Twitter, he sometimes uses lawyer speak instead of showing outrage - take today "Decision to uphold Muslim Ban is deeply disappointing and gives scant weight to @POTUS's explicit statements about it impermissible intent."

Well said, but too nice and too reserved.

Then separate Pelosi from it.

And Joe Biden. No thanks. Lets move forward. Not back to a more conservative Democratic Party.

I don't think I know at this point. I don't think it is important right now.

I can't imagine a primary where I would ever vote for Biden or Franken. The list of entrants would have to be extremely weak.

I would prefer a Harris or Warren over either.

I would honestly struggle if it was between Sanders, Biden or Franken. And my opinion of Sanders has been pretty clear.

We have to wait for the primaries, and usually some way into the primaries, before we have a leader. And even then, it's not official until the convention.

That's a big advantage to the Parliamentary system with its party leaders and shadow cabinets in place all the time.

I'm talking about a voice to speak for us NOW. A Dem who will speak truth to power passionately, articulately with no holds barred who isn't so worried about a future presidential election or seniority in congress.

Former Vice President Joe Biden said Tuesday that he feels “guilty” about not wanting to run for president because of the damage Donald Trump has done to the United States and the world. But he is in no hurry to take up residence in the White House.

“It makes me feel guilty about not wanting to [run for president],” Biden told The Washington Post during a discussion about increased tensions between the United States and its traditional allies in Europe. “But it doesn’t make me want to. I’m not looking to live in the White House, I’ve seen it up close.”

“All kidding aside, I don’t know what I’m going to do,” Biden added Tuesday.

And we would have if people weren't so bigoted, ignorant and sexist.

All we can do now is fight like hell to take back the House, make inroads in the Senate, and do everything we can to stop this administration from destroying our Democracy.

Many our of Democratic leaders and reps are doing just that.
