have tried harder to get a hearing for Garland. The SCOTUS is where we really get screwed.

could have made the Supreme Court a more prominent part of the election. We've got to get past the notion we might hurt someone's feelings if we fight back. It might not have worked, but at least we could say we tried our hardest to prevent this nightmare.

fighting the primary wars and wringing our hands over DNC emails, as well as Trump's daily abominations, to also get outraged over Merrick Garland as well.

Obama's big mistake was not pushing harder for it, or sending him to the SCOTUS and then announcing that the Senate had waived their right to advise & consent so he was appointing Merrick Garland after 90 days.

and, for all of Obama's moderate to liberal politics, he was probably too much of a constitutional traditionalist to do something like that:

that became very evident by July of 2016 . As we worked the phones are discussing issues with people going back and forth to DC. It became very apparent that White House Advisor's were telling Obama to not get sideways in this debate for fear of being Partisan.

Well what the hell do you think was the forecast results. Some of those Conversations we were having in our local office were damn hot. And we ended up with what most had expected.

...even for those that did not vote for him. Unfortunately, a gutter rat like Comrade McConnell and the rest of the GOP lunacy look for decent people with scruples to exploit, and now we have a brutally partisan 5-4 SCOTUS.

I could see Kennedy coming to his senses, and Roberts could actually surprise us, as he has done on more than one occasion. But, no. It doesn't look good.
