Emergency legislation keeping candidates who don't disclose 7 yrs of taxes off state ballots?

Teabaggers tried to get Obama off the ballot, would any states be willing to pass emergency legislation that makes Romney ineligble to be on the ballot until he releases his tax returns? I know it would be changing the rules midstream, but I don't believe this nation has ever been in this situation before. Extraordinary circumstances require extraordinary measures.

States cannot set their own eligibility requirements for presidential candidates, for the same reason they cannot set term limits for senators and congressmen, ect.

Regardless, any state that passed such a law, even if unenforceable, would be highly unlikely to allocate any electoral votes to Romney.
