Trump's Restaurants Are Vile Compared to the Red Hen

https://amp.thedailybeast.com/trumps-roach-infested-restaurants-are-vile-compared-to-the-red-hen

But perhaps those in glass restaurants shouldn’t throw stones. Compared to the Red Hen, some of Trump’s own restaurants seem like the bathroom of a dive bar the morning after a live show.

The Lexington, Virginia-based restaurant, which caused a Trumpworld uproar when it refused to serve White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Friday, passed its most recent health inspection with flying colors. State authorities found no violations when they visited the restaurant in February, and gave the Red Hen their best possible health-risk rating.

In April, Washington D.C. inspectors visited the Trump International Hotel and found 10 health-code violations, including raw meat stored above ready-to-eat foods and containers of flour stored next to a hand sink that lacked a splash guard. Inspectors also found that the hotel was operating a number of on-site kitchens without city permits to do so.

BLT Prime, the steakhouse at Trump’s D.C. hotel, had many of the same issues. It was also given a “moderate risk” rating in April, when inspectors recorded the same raw-meat storage issues as the hotel and a lack of signage in the kitchen instructing employees to wash their hands.

Because they prefer other shitty places like McDonalds like their orange overload. Or you know...gotta save that paycheck for the next MAGA hat on the Dump store.

But could also be because they have shit jobs and don't make a lot? Because they thought an extra 20 bucks was really putting them into the fortune 500.

He certainly doesn't give one to the Secret Service agents charged with following him around in golf carts - but those are charged to the American taxpayers! I'm still convinced that he's only in this as one more money making scheme, one of the few that hasn't bankrupted him...

A crash is looming and it won't be pretty. It'll be on him and the Republican congress. Course they'll try to pull the blame Obama/Hillary/Soros card...you know the originality just seeps from them.

The man is sick in the head, but his rabid base eats up his shit and throws it also.

He's bankrupted himself numerous times, he has no idea what he's doing and he's spending taxpayer money and using government resources (for his entire extended family!) like there's no tomorrow!

Just repeat it over and over and the herd believes everything will magically be ok. This is such a dangerous mindset and culture we're living in. Honestly I turned 28 yesterday and I spent a lot of my time thinking last night, I still have over 60+ years on this earth (if we haven't nuked ourselves yet) and this administration is completely screwing up my generation, Gen X and the upcoming Gen Z.

Mean I always just thought in the past year that Trump was just a complete idiot. But honestly this year, he has proven to me he isn't just an idiot. He's a dangerous one that has zero regard for his actions and it scares the unholy shit out of me.

Mean good thing is where I live. Mainly a very red part of Texas. I see nothing but Beto signs, no Cruz. This is where the change has to be to prevent this man from causing anymore harm. Democratic congress for checks and balances.

It's just the same as all his "anti" appointments, the opposite of what they're supposed to be, like a climate change denier in charge of the EPA. And in the meantime, he's enriching himself and his entire corrupt and grifting family at the expense of all of us.

And I live in a Republican-leaning district in NE New York. New York may be a blue state, but that's because of the more populous cities. After decades of Republican representation, we finally managed to elect a Democrat (and I give credit to President Clinton, who visited the district to campaign!), but now we're stuck with a Paul Ryan protegee who is becoming increasingly unpopular. She doesn't publicize her schedule until after the fact because protesters invariably show up.

But today is the Democratic primary - we have six Democrats running! I can remember when the party didn't bother to field a candidate. I have a strong preference, but I'm willing to work for whoever the nominee is, it's essential and I think we have the odds on our side. My district has had it with the Republican agenda and it sure sounds like that's happening across the country!

I'd love to run myself, but I doubt I would win here. I need to go and take courses on politics beyond what I know now, economics courses and such. I'd love to get involved more politically. I hope your primary goes well and you get the strongest you can against the Ryan 2.0.

But MAGA = Morons are governing America. Mueller ain't going away. I can go on.

But it's our time to reverse the train before he drives it completely off the cliff. I think that'll be when the economy finally crashes. But this kidnapping, he set the damn train on fire and it's speeding toward the cliff at 90 MPH.

I always voted, mostly for Democrats, but I was never all that engaged. But 9/11 woke me up and I realized that I didn't know nearly enough about everything that was going on in this country and the world. So I started reading and paying attention and eventually found DU in early 2003 - which is an amazing educational resource. I worked on three congressional campaigns and plan on working on the upcoming one - whoever it is.

The thing that's baffled me is what is the breaking point?? It's impossible to ignore what's been going on since Trump gained national attention and it's getting frighteningly worse every single day! Your analogy is spot on!

12. My awakening moment was 2010
Tue Jun 26, 2018, 06:59 AM

Honestly, when the resurgence that was once a respected party in politics. The Republican party died in 2008 and what came from it's corpse was a rabid, rotting, twisted entity. I gladly casted my first vote for Obama in 2008, I was proud as hell to finally be able to exercise my right to vote. But I never knew about the enemy we would have, 2010 I saw the worst from people. That Tea Party crap, the Mitch McConnell comment on basically trying to keep Obama a one term president. That was it for me.

But seeing what is happening now, I'm amazed by how unhinged people have become, how psychotic they real are. Mean in my part of the state, someone put up a billboard basically telling Liberals to keep driving until they got out of Texas and mind you I've lived in Amarillo all my life and not once saw anything like that. I don't see what point they are trying to make. I think they are scared that Texas is starting to change and eventually it's going to flip like California did.

But what is the breaking point? I honestly don't think there is one for them. Trump could literally kill a supporters wife, mother, child or whatever and still worship him because they think he was sent from God. For these people, there is no limit. The cult mentality is so deadly that they love the idea of being cared about or so they think he watches out for them.

We've reached ours way before he was even "elected" we saw through his BS and what type of vile human being he was before 2016. Hell we saw it in 2012 with his birther shit. But the MAGAt's love him and they do not have a limit, they never will. They will die for him if he gave them all Kool-Aid.

We just gotta GOTV and wipe the damn country clean of the congress parasites that allow him to do whatever he wants.

What's happening now totally boggles the mind! There are always the uninformed and the bigoted, but they've always been on the fringes. It's shocking to contemplate what's been happening during what seems like overnight! It never dawned on most of us that Trump would ever assume office. He was already so offensive during the campaign that I couldn't stand to watch - I kept wishing it was over so I wouldn't have to hear or see him again!

I had dental surgery on election day and fell asleep on the couch watching the returns. I woke up at about 3am to see Trump on the TV with his entire extended family - and I figured it must be a nightmare, but I keep hoping to wake up! And anything that we could have contemplated has quickly become so much worse! In any administration there are checks and balances from Congress, but it inexplicably isn't happening this time and he's gotten away with abominations that the radical RW has only dreamed of!

I voted in the primaries today here in NE New York. Of the six candidates, the one I voted for didn't win - but my last choice (Dylan Ratigan) didn't either. I'm disappointed because the woman who won is the farthest away from my area of all the candidates. We got redistricted in 2015 and are now part of a gigantic area that stretches up to the Canadian border - we're now in the southern-most part of the district. But she's sure better than what we have now - so she'll have my support and my vote.

We watched it slip away, we got pizza that night ensuring the thought we'd have a victory. I tried to get on DU all day, but of course the hack from some incel probably kept all of us from being together. We watched Wisconsin slip away, Michigan, PA...I shook my head and just couldn't help be laugh. I think my own insanity hit me and I just started laughing as hard as I could because I realized how stupid this country is. I couldn't help but laugh while the rest of my family was in tears or devastated. I knew what we were in for and what was going to happen, I figured yeah there is no way he'll do what he's going to do. He's just an idiot.

Wrong I was. He is a psychotic person with a vengeance on everything, from Obama to the NFL you name it. He is hell bent on destroying everything because he has his orders and loves to dang red meat in front of zombies. This is something they wanted for a long time, not some bland person like Jeb Bush or whatever. They wanted someone who was a Nazi sympathizer, a racist POS, a offensive person because it just pissed us off. I get it, they love mad Liberals but they don't care what happens to them as long as it makes us angry. And when we do get mad, they scream civility, they scream insults because they don't have any train of thought or a solid argument.

I'm glad NY primaries went well. I gotta canvas this weekend for Beto who is just 5 behind Cruz. That's a shock to me especially in this state, but all I see is Beto signs, no Cruz. Fight the good fight!
