Sarah Three Names: Just Deserts Are on The Menu Everywhere

When a person becomes a public figure, a lot of things come with that territory. When you are seen daily on the TV and other news, what you say and do is who you are seen to be. Everywhere.

If the things you say and do are deplorable, well, you'll be seen as a deplorable person, wherever you go. If you choose to become a public figure, you can expect people in the real world to treat you according to how you behave as a public figure.

If the behavior you present is ugly, mean, and full of contempt, you can expect people to react to you negatively. That means that, sometimes, you may get 86ed from some public place where your opinions are loathed.

You carry your public face with you at all times. Don't whine if you get served your just deserts in a restaurant. You've earned them.

Thou shalt not lie.
She’s a liar.
We reserve the right not to serve those who daily break a Commandment.

It's highly unusual for a restaurant to toss a table of people. It's very rare. Most restaurants are hurting for patrons, frankly. There are so many of them. The Red Hen is, apparently, quite a popular restaurant, despite its pricey menu. The management made a decision about one group and 86ed that group.

Such decisions are not taken lightly, I guarantee.

Owning a restaurant is almost a guarantee that you'll be closing that restaurant before too much time passes, really.

It's a homophone, though, which has a nice application here. No dessert for you, Sarah! Get out!

As in, "Your deserts are exactly what you deserve. And since you were bad, you can't have your dessert."

Dessert comes from the French word, desservir, which means to clear the table. After everything is gone, the dessert course is served.
