Sen. Schumer (D-NY) announces his daughter is marrying another woman

Chuck Schumer’s daughter will be marrying another woman, the senator announced during Sunday’s Gay Pride Parade.

Alison Schumer’s fiancée is Elizabeth Weiland and the pair plan to walk down the aisle on November 18, according to their wedding registry page.

“Marching in the #NYCPride Parade has special meaning this year as I am marching with my daughter Alison and her wonderful fiancée Biz! #HappyPride,” tweeted the politician, who wore a lavender shirt to the annual festivities.

Alison, 29, is an executive at Facebook.
