This is so insensitive, wrong and stupid, that unless he allows parents to take their children back, that is what will happen. That will take time, and it will give Trump a chance to do what is right. But in a month or so, if this is still going on, talk of impeachment will become loud. He must allow the parents to reunite their children and take them back.
