I had to stop and take deep breaths,” Moore told TIME Tuesday, describing his reaction to the scene of a two-year-old Honduran girl crying as her mother was being detained in McAllen, Texas. “All I wanted to do was pick her up. This picture is going to go down as one of those "iconic" photos that defines an issue. But for me personally, I think the picture of the idiot makes him look too benevolent. It almost looks like he feels sorry for her...his signature scowl is missing, and we all know that's how he would have been looking at this child.
