Im sure DU ers could come up with some I hadnt thought of. What do you do when the facts on the ground are so disturbing that simply facing them is daunting?
Through out history horrible people have managed to acquire power, unaccountable power and authority. Throughout history the commoners have brought these horrors of humanity to heal through the simple effect of getting together, standing in union with those citizens who share their common concerns.
Watching Rachel Maddow tonight she related a story of a California couple who started a go fund me for bail money for the arrested refugees. They thought they would be able to raise $1500.00 to provide bail for one family. They raised, in literally no time at all according to Ms Maddows reporting, over $15,000,000 and counting.
For me this story prompts adjectives of another sort that are of a positive frame. I thank the decent folks of America for whom real care and concern for actual American values matter. To you, and I count myself one of you, we will prevail, we have to. Failure is not an option.
