Will they recognize requests for refugee status or continue to arrest those people as criminals?

This issue has real legs. This is blowing up in their faces.

News show hosts are breaking down and openly crying on the air.

Will BLOTUS back down? He NEVER has in his life, so why would he now? He said yesterday that this is making him look strong!

It was Obama's fault. It was the Democrat's that want open borders and violent criminal Hispanic rapists to harm our citizens. It was Laura Bush's husband's fault. There was no change in policy.

Nielsen said it was not even happening and Miller said it was a policy change that was needed to show strength.

I am sooooo confused. Not.

Trump fucked up big time. He is a weak ignorant clueless ineffectual leader that is destroying America and American ideals with the help of a feckless GOP controlled legislature. I am actually surprised he backed down...he did not give a damn about the children and infants, his own image and pocketbook (the only two things he cares about) must have taken a massive hit. Fuck him.

I wonder why? Just because of people yelling at her? Or she saw the press conference she gave? Or her family "spoke" to her? Or she has found out some details of what a nightmare is happening to the kids? Or she sees where this is going, so she wants to preserve her reputation?

Don't tell me she's suddenly gotten a conscience. Not this kind of person. Anyone who would even think about this being a good policy is not the kind of person who would change her mind later.

So she'll be told to shut her mouth if she doesn't want it slapped, and let this play out like he wants it to.

That's been the Republican talking point throughout this: that this was a law passed by Democrats (it's not), and the ONLY way to stop it would be to change the law (it's not), which would require Democrats in Congress to work with the majority (still don't understand this tortured logic), and until they do that, nothing could be done.

that DC Mexican restaurant had an effect on Nielsen.
