Geraldo Rivera and Hannity Erupt Over Border Policy: 'When Did We Become the Party of Child Abuse?!'

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/geraldo-rivera-and-hannity-erupt-over-border-policy-when-did-we-become-the-party-of-child-abuse/

Sparks flew on the set of Hannity Tuesday night as the Fox News host sparred with Geraldo Rivera over the separation of migrant families at the southern border.

Sean Hannity first said Democrats were “playing politics” by not taking an immigration deal from President Donald Trump, telling both sides of the aisle to “fix the law and do your jobs.”

“Politics aside,” Rivera replied, “This is cruelty as policy. This is an obscenity. This is the government of the United States and the president that we both love, advocating a system by which young children are torn from their mothers.”

-snip-

“When did we become the party of child abuse!?” Rivera said. He then pointed out that Trump implemented the “zero tolerance” policy that is responsible for charging border crossers and thereby sending their children to detention centers.

Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch spoke next, and after dismissing those getting “hysterical” about family separations, Rivera blew up.

“This is not hysterical!” Rivera shot back. “This is child abuse! How dare you! How dare you!”

-snip-

At the end of the segment, Rivera unleashed a final time on Farrell: “You know just because you don’t have sincere emotions, don’t say I don’t!”

He was born Gerald Rivera but he's half Puerto Rican and half Jewish

Rivera was born at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, New York, the son of Lillian (née Friedman) and Cruz "Allen" Rivera (October 1, 1915 – November 1987), a restaurant worker and cab driver respectively.[4][5] Rivera's father was a Catholic Puerto Rican,[6] and his mother is of Ashkenazi Russian Jewish descent. He was raised "mostly Jewish" and had a Bar Mitzvah ceremony.

pretending to be outraged while remaining in the cult. A few tears don't change that. He'll be back to spouting the Trump justifications before long.
He'll find new ways to hide what everyone knows and no good Republican admits. This is what they are selling.
"If only those evil Democrats would give Trump enough concessions, he wouldn't have to traumatize children."

He made his reputation as a news reporter in NYC on ABC Channel 7 Eyewitness News with a series exposing the abuses to adults and children that took place at a Staten Island facility for the mentally ill, exposing the terrible conditions in which they were housed and "cared" for and demanding that the situation be immediately addressed.

Where he went off the rails I don't know, but those are his roots.

People are people, and most are weak to the pulls of fame and money.

He isn't the prototype complete POS scumbag like a Hannity, tucker carlson, etc.

But, what integrity and decency he had has been overwhelmingly over ridden by the pull ego, wanting to rub elbows with self important people, turning a dollar.

They are sick, twisted, child-spankers as a group, judgmental "not in my town" racists, and fervent advocates for lynching (or long, cruel, arbitrary prison sentences for cultural crimes like marijuana.)

That's what Larry Atwater meant by the term "Law and Order" when it entered our political vocabulary back in the 70s. A Law and Order candidate is open to lynching. Word to the toothless GOP.

This is his policy. Abducting children and BABIES is his alone. He is completely responsible. Yes, there are others who are culpable; the appalling Kirstjen Nielson, the evil Stephen Miller, the cowardly John Kelly, the cowering Republican Congress, etc. But the president you love owns this. He can stop it with a phone call, with a signature. He is DOING THIS to children.

And you still love him. While I'm glad you said what you said to that toad Hannity, you are still a waste of space.

This is a turning point. This is a switch inside the minds of every American. This cannot be put back in the bottle. People are angry, outraged, and will not stand for it, and will do whatever it takes to oust these traitors.

Denying children food, healthcare and education; denying mothers the right to not have so many children that they can be provided for

THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF CHILD ABUSE

oh, and if you're going to break out the old "we can't afford those things" trope, first, fine, then admit you don't give a single shit about children. And second, guess what? This "zero tolerance" policy is not only cruel and inhumane, it's extremely expensive. We definitely don't have money to spend on willfully tormenting toddlers.
