(10,842 posts)found herself unable to read the AP news flash. Or Stephanie Ruhle barely holding it together. Anyone who has had a child or been close to a small child knows how horrific this situation truly is.
My kids are grown but I cannot imagine any of them dealing with this trauma.
Tender Age facilities? Jesus, what a euphemism. How 'bout Baby Prisons? Or Infant Incarceration?
I listened to a social worker/child psychologist spokesperson describing the facilities that appear to be well equipped. But the kids themselves are like zombies, not interacting with other children or their surroundings. Why? Because they've been ripped from their mothers, their fathers, from everything familiar and secure.
Real damage is being done to these youngsters. Damage that is being done out of cruelty, indifference and political spite.
Never forget, never forgive.
