Two comments on this Texas child care situation...

They are supposedly "kidnapping" 70 children/day at the border. They can't put enough cribs together fast enough to handle that number, let alone find and prepare facilities sufficiently enough to ensure a safe and healthy environment for them.

I'd almost guess that, ironically, they are probably having to hire Mexicans to prepare these facilities. I imagine the CEOs of these centers are well-paid and would want the cheapest labor possible to increase their profit margin. I've heard that people can drive by certain corners of Houston and pick/choose the Mexican laborers who stand waiting for someone to offer them employment. Could this be the case? Same with translators. Same with food handlers. Same with diaper changers/babysitters.

Will the babysitters and diaper changers be able to touch these babies?

If it weren't so sad, it would be laughable.
