it's a cut. a cut that may not heal.
sadly, these days, i suspect if spanky ordered the guards at these jails to cut off a finger or a toe of these babies, many would obey that order.
but most would not, i hope.
but what we are doing is the same.
we are injuring them as surely as that.
and then, some we will stitch up. some we will give a couple bandaids. and some we will simply allow to bleed, because they are not to be touched.
hell, some would stand by and watch as gangrene grows.
what we are doing is just.like.that.
some of these kids will, in fact, end up dead. maybe soon, maybe after years of trying to cope w with these invisible wounds.
it might be more honest to just physically, actually cut them. it's what some wish they were allowed to do. and many would stand by and watch and get their yayas.
and this is who we have become under this monster.
