The "Failing" CNN network is doing just fine

While the CNN TV cable news ratings gets its butt kicked by both MSNBC and Fox News, the network garners a huge inline presence. The Alexa website tracker is showing CNN is the 24th most accessed website in the US and the 105th most accessed globally. Pretty impressive.

I rarely watch either it or MSNBC, they are little more than 24/7 Infotainment which occasionally brushes up against journalism. Mostly they just are platforms to sell prescriptions for drugs I never knew I needed.

when the last two minutes of his segment was hawking his new book. I just shook my head and finally gave up on the whole CNN thing. I had been limiting my time to about 10 minutes every couple of days, but now won't watch them at all. Took them off my news updates on my phone as well.

It's just infotainment.

I'm not arguing their content. I am arguing that they are not failing like our asshole in chief likes to say. But hey.
