By itself the numbers are kind of meaningless without knowing what percentage of voters registered each way turned out.

From the Maine government website
Democrat 328,393
Green 43,663
Libertarian 5,549
Republican 276,162
Unenrolled 376,422
My husband was unrolled for years, but he enrolled as a Democrat yesterday to vote in the Maine Democratic primary.
