In their fantasy world, the present economy is all due to the efforts of Donald Trump. The eight years of steady growth under Obama never really happened. That is only a lie from "fake news".

How long can they stand in the hot desert sun and pretend that they are standing in a soft snow scene from a Norman Rockwell painting?

There is a time limit on all fantasies.

Fantacists don't have a history of coming to their senses.

Usually, outside factors force the collapse of fantasies.

And sadly, there's a level of fantasy inherent and intrinsic to Americans.

Bad things will probably have to happen for this fantasy to evaporate. But they'll need to be pretty very bad, because Americans are generally very prone to accepting fantasy, and in fact embracing it.

Just yesterday I saw Chris Matthews telling the nation that America is the best country in th world, and that the whole world knows it.

This is neither true or helpful.

This could never end well. The apathy, the ignorance of so many Americans sealed our fate. This is the biggest scandal in American history. The damage from Trump will be long lasting. The Mueller investigation is going to shock the American people.
