WSJ: Putin gave Trump the idea for ending military exercises with South Korea

@kurteichenwald
Gee what a surprise. A January piece in the Wall Street Journal - five months ago - reported that Trump had been told by a key advisor to drop joint military exercises with South Korea.

The advisor? Vladimir Putin. Trump knifed an ally to aid an enemy on the advice of Russia.

And here are the details, straight from the far-left fake news Wall Street Journal:

republicans are blatantly betraying America, American democracy, and American security.

The Singapore Surrender (R) will go down in history as an absolutely disgraceful cowardly capitulation by the KGOP republicans to the whims of the kremlin as expressed through Comrade Casino, the dangerously deceitful republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief.

Shame on republicans for their wholesale BETRAYAL of the USA. Disgraceful.

The Constitution is really specific about that, so treason is off the table. But there's plenty of other statutes that have been transgressed.

One has to either wage war against the US or “adhere to ... enemies, giving them aid or comfort.”

If Russia isn’t an enemy, then why do we have 4,000 nuclear missiles pointed at them? We don’t have 4,000 nuclear missiles programmed to strike Canada or France (at least not yet).

and exclaims how “bold” or “unusual” it is such as blatantly and grotesquely offending and undermining our allies — repeatedly — trying to fracture nato and behaving like a child at the G-7 and demanding that Russia be admitted, giving major concessions to the NoKo dictator while getting a vague promise of something in return, all of it is Putin-approved. This was surreal at first. Now it is becoming terrifying, frankly. The whole world is witnessing this!
