Contrast this Potemkin agreement with the Camp David Peace Accords.

Jimmy Carter spent twelve days at Camp David with President Sadat and Prime Minister Begin. At the end of the negotiations Egypt got back the Sinai which they had lost to Israel in The Six Day War in 1967 and Israel got a peace treaty with its largest and most powerful rival and eliminated the most probable route of a future invasion. Egypt also kicked out its Soviet military advisors and became an American ally.

That, my friends, is what a real accord looks like.

Trump's totally winging it without a single clue
or strategy except self-glorification. It would
be comedy gold if it were actually funny.
Instead he's just an embarassment.

Republicans can no longer claim that President Obama failed in his negotiations with Iran. The Iran agreement was much tougher than this agreement and I am not sure the United States had to give up much if anything. What did the United States give up in order to get the Iran deal? Also, the Iran deal had a verification component.

That (The Camp David Accords) my friends deserved a Nobel Peace Prize. According to Wikipedia, Begin and Sadat were awarded Peace Prizes, but Jimmy Carter also should have been given a Peace Prize.
