An interesting idea from Steve Schmidt: Fly a Canadian flag on 7/1.

Every July 1st, Canada Day, I fly the Canadian flag from my flagpole in honor of our great ally to the North. TRUMP’s outrageous assault on Canada should be repudiated. I hope some of my fellow Americans will think about sending a message this Canada day. Get a flag and fly it.

Our piece of s**t fake president dissed Mexico even worse! I can't stand him! Fly all three in solidarity and post a picture every where possible on the internet.

when my brother and I, on a lark, drove to Duluth and then along the North Shore of Lake Superior to Grand Marais - and then just for the hell of it kept going and wound up in Thunder Bay. No ID needed other than a drivers' license. Now they probably won't even let us in at all.

they simply asked us what our citizenship was, where we were going and how long we were staying.

Now you need a passport or an enhanced ID.

I am appalled that Trump said what he said and the Republicans have no courage and will not stand up to him.
Our mall flies both flags.

Read the tweet yesterday and thought it was a fine idea because symbols can be powerful. And this one says/represents:

I'm an American and I Stand with Canada, the way they've stood with us.

Many of Canada's exports in pop culture draw compliments on social media

(snip)

With diplomatic tensions between the U.S. and Canada rocked by recent comments about trade by President Donald Trump and his advisers, some Americans are finding ways to acknowledge Canada's other exports in popular culture.

From Neil Young and Joni Mitchell to poutine and northern hospitality, many of Canada's internationally known trademarks became fodder for compliments on social media using the hashtags, #ThankCanada and #ThanksCanada.
