Trump Announces Shift in Immigration Policy: Now Wants Wall on Northern Border

Washington (by Sarcasm News Agency): The Trump administration has shifted it's request in new immigration bills in the U.S. Congress to demand $120 Billion for a northern wall, separating the United States from Canada. Trump assured his supporters, in a written statement, that he has not abandoned the proposal for a southern wall separating the U.S. from Mexico, just that his priorities have shifted. "Canada represents a clear and present danger to the United States. After all they have attacked our nation's capital and burned the White House in the past. We need to protect our dairy farmers and keep illegal immigrants from escaping to the north in order to avoid apprehension from ICE and preventing the United States from detaining their children.' Relations between the once solid allies have worsened since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau indicated that Canada would "not be pushed around". Trump took that remark as an act of war (at least a trade war) and pulled out of any united declaration from the G-7 democracies.

Trump, who has abandoned long held alliances with Western Democracies in favor of new alliances with dictatorships and authoritarian regimes, continues to insult and criticize the 70 year alliances with France, England, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, as well as Canada and Mexico and many other reliable democratic allies.

Vladimir Putin of Russia praised Trump for his bold move and promised his full support in Trump's battle with democracies. "Trump is beginning to understand what 'unchecked freedom' brings."

Ted Baskin, of Wheeling West Virginia and a strong Trump supporter, said he spoke for every Trump supporter he knows "I can only say one thing to Donald Trump, "Build Those Walls".
