Steve Schmidt is not bashful with his words! In a tweet earlier today, he said that "Trump beclowned himself at the G7 Summit this weekend"! This word is spot on and this is what Trump will be called from now on! "Beclownder in Chief"!

3. If we're ever going to restore our democracy

Conservative, old style republicans like Schmidt will need to be a part of the process. It would be nice if that weren’t necessary, but I’m not under the delusion we’re going to control the WH and Congress with super majorities in perpetuity, so when reconstruction begins after Drumpf is defeated, imprisoned or resigns, it will inevitably be a collaborative effort.

What keeps me up at night is that Trump is 72 years old and in bad physical condition. Who will be the next leader of the American fascist movement? The deplorables won’t be going away regardless of what happens in November or 2020. This is looking like a very long term struggle for the country’s soul in the making.
