That's $7.5 billion of goodwill in the Open Source community Microsoft has bought, or it's pissed away to nothing. I'm not betting either way.
Look forward to an increasing number of alternate git universes in the Google and Amazon "clouds" and remember Spock is logical in all universes but the J.J. Abrams version.
