Somebody must have knelt on the coaxial cable and broken it.

Is it over already? Did he limit himself to 280 characters?

I watched in via a CNN live feed. Very bad audio. Nothing of note (my opinion) was said. I did like the band but the audio ruined it.

ETA: It was a larger crowd than he expected.

It was literally Trump mouthing the Star Spangled Banner, then he gave a short speech about standing for the anthem and how proud troops who died in combat would be of him, then he mouthed God Bless America, and that was it.

Dumbest bullshit you'd ever seen. I was actually hoping for some more verbal diarrhea on his part, but he kept it short.

Audience appeared to be mostly White House staffers and members of the Military who were ordered to attend and sing.

On edit: This was kind of cool. I'm surprised the Madman didn't order Secret Service to beat this guy silly, but I guess he missed it:

Just a question: what about the people who held up their phones to take a video of the singing of the Star Spangled Banner? Is that okay now?

I'm pretty sure that speech was lifted from an article written by Red Skelton for a July issue of The Reader's Digest sometime in the '60s.
